Made from Amara, a synthetic leather whose properties repel water. Because it sheds water it absorbs less. A great alternative to full grain or split leather, these gloves stretch less, dry quicker and don't stiffen and harden like leather. This material is very supple, so it's comfortable to wear. After getting wet it will keep its soft feel time after time. Synthetic Amara is also very durable and abrasion resistant. - Amara reinforcement on fingers & palm combats typical tear areas

Short or Long Finger?
Short-finger gloves offer the best dexterity for tying knots and keep fingers bare for rope recognition, while long-finger gloves give extra protection for handling sheets and provide added protection. Long fingers also offer more protection from the cold.

The fingertips are enclosed in the 'Long Finger' glove, with only the thumb and forefinger open.
Sizing
If in doubt about your glove size, follow your shirt size. Within the UK we'll send a new size free of charge if you've got it wrong - just send them back in their original packing.
