GME MT403FF 406MHz Float-Free EPIRB (no GPS)
GME MT403FF 406MHz Float-Free EPIRB (no GPS)
GME’s new technology revolutionised the EPIRB world with the introduction of the AccuSat MT400, a radical new design concept that was not only a significant improvement on existing beacon performance, but dramatically slashed the cost of 406 MHz EPIRB ownership.

Designed to meet the most demanding regulatory approvals the GME MT403FG is a Class 2, Category 1 EPIRB in a fully enclosed float free housing with a Hammar HRU that will release the beacon at a certain depth, the beacon will then automatically activate. Manual release/activation is also possible.

An auxiliary 121MHz homing transmitter is included in the MT403FG to enable suitable equipped Search and Rescue services to home on the distress beacon. Signal will be transmitted for at least 48 hours.

NOTE: all our PLBs and EPIRBs come pre-programmed with a UK serial number. For international or vessel-specific programming, please contact us for details.
