GME’s new technology revolutionised the EPIRB world with the introduction of the AccuSat MT400, a radical new design concept that was not only a significant improvement on existing beacon performance, but dramatically slashed the cost of 406 MHz EPIRB ownership.
Utilising the same innovative technology, features and benefits of the AccuSat MT400, the MT403 can be automatically activated by immersion in water or by the manually operated switch.
An auxiliary 121MHz homing transmitter is included in the MT403 to enable suitable equipped Search and Rescue services to home on the distress beacon. Signal will be transmitted for at least 48 hours.
