The new GPSMAP 62x features a bright 2.6-inch 65k colour LCD display, boasts unparalleled reception with a quad helix antenna, is waterproof and supports paperless geocaching. In addition to the standard feature set on the GPSMAP 62, the 62s versions adds a 3-axis compass, a barometric altimeter and a built-in microSD" card slot for loading additional maps. The GPSMAP 62s also offer wireless route, waypoint, and geocache sharing with other compatible units. GPSMAP 62s has a built-in worldwide basemap with shaded relief. Adding more maps is easy with Garmin's wide array of detailed topographic, marine and road maps, which can be installed on Micro SD card or loaded to the 1.7GB internal memory. You can also store 2000 waypoints and 200 routes. The GPSMAP 62s will record 10,000 trackpoints over 200 saved tracks. Connection to a PC is via the included USB cable.
