The Garmin GPSMAP 750 is a standalone GPS/chartplotter offering excellent ease of use. The bright 7-inch display puts all the information you need right at your fingertips. GPSMAP 750 is preloaded with marine charts for the UK and Ireland (including Channel Islands and north coast of France) and a worldwide basemap.. You can also add radar and NMEA 2000-connected devices. The internal, high-sensitivity GPS receiver offers superior satellite tracking and quicker acquisition times. An external antenna can be added for locations where satellite acquisition may be more difficult. Whether you’re changing course or simply reviewing information in front of you, the intuitive touchscreen interface enables simple operation. The unit also offers flexible brightness levels for daytime readability along with automatic low-light dimming during night use. The rugged and waterproof display is made to perform in any situation. The GPSMAP 750 can be interfaced with Garmin’s line of affordable GMR™ marine radar systems using the built-in rdar port. Whether you’re adding radar now or in the future, you’ll enjoy the convenience of “plug-and-play installation” as well as the power, range and high-definition targeting of Garmin's proven radar offerings. Sonar version - 750S The 750S model features a 1kW-capable sonar transceiver. This powerful sonar can help you define fish targets and underwater structures as far down as 610 metres (2000 feet) when used with a 1kW transducer. Other transducers can be used. Bluechart g2 Vision Charts Additional features available when you add g2 vision charts include: - MarinerEye view and FishEye view provide you with a 3-dimensional perspective of map information, both above and below the waterline. - High-resolution satellite images and aerial photographs help you orientate yourself in unfamiliar areas. - Auto Guidance technology searches through all relevant charts to create a route you can actually follow - one that avoids obstacles, shallow water, buoys and other obstructions. So two waypoints either side of a headland don't show an overland route!
