The result is the new Steiner Commander XP 7x30. Extraordinarily handy thanks to its compact dimensions, it is an excellent companion that impresses with its outstanding technology and can easily outperform a good many 7x50 binoculars.

 

The impressive field of view of 130 metres facilitates locating objects such as buoys, harbour entrances or shallow waters. The maximum image sharpness of 20 metres to infinity is a feature that is guaranteed, loved and proven. With the Steiner Sports-Auto-Focus locating objects on water and land is child‘s play. The intelligent Memory-Ocular lets the user mark individual focus settings, so that it is possible to reproduce the settings in a moment.

 

The superior technical properties make it immediately apparent that the new Steiner CommanderXP 7x30 is also the ideal companion for excursions on land or for outdoor use. Powerful like its big brother, yet much lighter and more compact.

 

Like all Steiner binoculars, the CommanderXP 7x30 is very rugged and extremely resistant thanks to its Makrolon® housing with a low total weight. Not even oils, acids or salt water can harm the NBR-Longlife rubber armouring. And the lenses are also perfectly protected with Steiner’s special Nano-Protection against aggressive environmental influences. Nothing remains on the lenses that could impair the field of view.

The Steiner Commander XP is filled with nitrogen using innovative 2-way-valve technology to nearly eliminate the possibility of the lenses fogging up or condensation from forming on the inside of the binoculars. What’s more, they are water pressure tight to a depth of 10 metres so that they can easily stand up to the most challenging conditions.
